Omar Moured

I am a robotics engineer at Sereact, part of the R&D team working on World Action Models (WAM), vision-language-action (VLA) models, and the robot control stack. Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the CV:HCI Lab at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), working with Prof. Rainer Stiefelhagen, and collaborating closely with the ACCESS@KIT Lab. My PhD research focused on vision-language models (VLMs) for document understanding, specifically visualization analysis, multi-hop document retrieval, and accessibility for blind and visually impaired people.
